I had such a special conversation with my new friend and fellow author, Eileen Hornback. Having survived a parent’s worst nightmare, Eileen chronicled her son’s miraculous return from the brink of death as he struggled with traumatic brain injury. Overwhelmed with the need to provide medical updates to friends and family, she was inspired to blog throughout his recovery.  It became a cathartic platform that enabled others to grasp the power of prayer that sustained her when faced with life and death decisions. The blog became the outline for this book that provides hope and encouragement to other families dealing with their own personal tragedies.
