5 Business Tips To Know When You Are Starting Your Business

If I knew then what I know now, I’d be in a much different place.  How many times have you said that to yourself?  I shared last week about the struggle my son Connor had to make it across the finish line to graduate.  

We had lunch this week and I asked him what is he going to do differently when he sets foot on his college campus to ensure this same year does not repeat itself?  My straight A student barely graduated!  Talk about stress in the Williams Household!

He told me he would get back to the basics and it reminded me of the fundamental building blocks to building my business.  Last week I shared the first 5…here are 5 more!

1. Focus on your leadership skills. This is the #1 area that I believe has enabled me to achieve the success I’ve had in business.  I have had to LEARN how to lead myself and my team.
2. Learn something new every day.  Stay humble and remain the student.
3. Create collaborations with others…it’s so much fun creating abundance with the hands of many contributing and benefitting than all by ourselves!
4. Be generous with your time, money and ideas.  The world of corporate America does not foster this.  It’s the most amazing concept and the entrepreneurs that have mastered this concept achieve the highest level of success
5. Commit to putting time into your business…don’t look at the success others have achieved and expect to have it yourself if you aren’t willing to put the time in.  If you are still in corporate America, commit at least a few hours of each day to your OWN DREAM!

What rewards will you get as you start to build your business:

Unlimited time to enjoy all the activities your kids are doing because you are not stuck at work

Living a laptop lifestyle…I love to travel and I bring my business wherever I go!

Unlimited income…if you pick a business where there is a strong demand and limited supply you will always produce revenue

“Mail-box” money…as you grow your business, you will start to paid for work you did long ago.
